12 Day Intensive (one-to-one) Complete Hair and Makeup Course

(In association with the FWA*)



This course is aimed at the individual who wants to become a successful and busy bridal

and events makeup/hair artist with the ability to start work straight away.



Working under 1-to-1 tuition with some of the most skilled artists in London who specialise

in their chosen fields, the student will receive the upmost care and attention in honing their

craft, to enable them to become great hair and makeup artists themselves.


Each training day concentrates on a different subject and full comprehensive notes are given

out at each session for you to read, understand and add too!




Everything from health and safety to glamour, lash application to Asian and basic blowdrys to

bridal hair will be covere. Each day is balanced to make sure that enough time is dedicated

to practical application to ensure confidence and a true understanding is achieved.


Models of all different ages, skin types and ethnicities are provided throughout the course.




A photo shoot on the final day is included to kickstart your portfolio with a professional

photographer at a London studio and you will be given a disk with 6-8 final images.



What you shoot is your decision but you will be expected to produce 3-4 complete looks.



                                               


At the end of the course students will have the opportunity to apply to work as a franchisee or freelancer for

'Beauty Call' as well as being able to find work through other avenues.

Day 5 - Continuation of hair design training and practice / review


Day 6 - Period Looks for Hair & Makeup | Research Tools & Tips / Scrapbook | Kit Discussion and Recommendations


Day 7 - Glamour Hair & Makeup | Lashes / Liner | Big Hair


Day 8 - Global Beauty - working on skin of different colours | Different Eye Shapes


Day 9 - Advanced Hair Techniques: Messy Side Buns | 40's Retro Wave | Extensions & Veils / Fascinators | Tiaras


Day 10 - Blowdrying European and Afro Hair: Volume Bob | Straight Blowdry with GHD's | Flicks | Hollywood Curls |

To include 3-4 different styles of hair & makeup looks of you choice - using models from the training course.
