IF I DECIDE NOT TO BOOK DO I NEED TO PAY ANYTHING FOR THE TRIAL?
Just the £10 booking fee applies when you originally booked to secure your date and the best available artist. You can always have secondary trials (charged) to perfect your look. £35 if you decide not to proceed with the booking.
HOW LONG DO TRIALS TAKE?
About 2 hours is average, but there are no time restrictions.
CAN YOU DO AIRBRUSHING/FALSE LASHES?
Sure, individual ones work best – try them out and see if you like them Airbrushing can be done – but only by a couple of our artists – please check availability.
CAN MY BRIDESMAIDS/MUM HAVE A TRIAL TOO?
Yes, if they have 1 thing done (Hair or Makeup) its £30, 2 things (Hair and Makeup) is £40 – payable direct to your artist on the day of the trial.
WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
Every artist has their own individual kit preferences, but may include: Mac, Laura Mercier, Benefit, Lancome, Nars, Clinique, Estee Lauder
HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT?
£125 for hair and makeup / £80 for hair OR makeup (50% deposit of the bridal costs to secure everything for you)
ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE AND TAKEN OFF THE TOTAL BILL.
IS EVERY MAKEUP ARTIST THE SAME RATE?
Yes, all artists cost the same and are of very similar standards.
DO I NEED TO PROVIDE GRIPS, SPRAY ETC?
No, but your tiara and/or veil are useful to have at your trial.
I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN, CAN I USE MY OWN PRODUCTS?
Sure, whatever you need to make sure you don’t have a reaction on your wedding day.
CAN YOU PROVIDE HAIR PIECES?
Yes, but it’s advisable to buy your own to get an exact colour match – Sally’s is a good shop to try.
WHAT HAPPENS WITH TRAVEL?
Travel is charged at 40p a mile from the local artist’s base to your venue (return) but is negotiable.
