I have been working for Beauty Call for the last 2 years now – it has been the best job I could ask for, which is why I jumped at the opportunity to take over the Kingston and Twickenham franchise!!
I am so looking forward to continue to do hair and makeup in the KT and TW postcodes.
In the last couple of weeks I have been involved with new musical ‘THE TAILOR-MADE MAN’, set during the 1930’s and based on the true story of William ‘Billy’ Haines, the silent screen star who was fired by MGM Studios because he was gay . The cast includes Faye Tozer (from STEPS), Dylan Turner and Mike McShane. Here’s the getting ready for the press shots shot! The show is at The Arts Theatre in London’s West End from Feb 13th till April 6th – you can book tickets by clicking here:
I have already done 4 wedding fairs…..first at Bourne Hall which was a big success with lots of lovely brides, secondly at The Landmark where we also did the Hair and Make-up for the fashion show.
I have also attended my first franchisee meeting at the Beauty Call Studio in Shoreditch. I got to meet most of the other franchisees and pick their brains on how they run their own areas.
So after having 20 confirmed brides and 9 new enquiries already in just a couple of weeks in a freezing cold February then I am definitely looking forward to the rest of 2013!!!
