I’ve had a really busy past couple of weeks with Beauty Call and the different jobs we’ve had on.
With all this and London Fashion Week buzzing round our heads it’s been pretty crazy!
Karen (franchisee for SG & AL postcodes) and I worked at the ‘Incisive Media Awards 2013’. We did hair and makeup for their staff who were their cast; creating styles from vintage sweeping hair to 1970’s florescent smokey eyes – dramatic but amazing! We were lucky enough to watch the awards afterwards also.
I did the hair and makeup for the bridal shows to help Grace in KT and TW at the Brooklands Hotel in Weybridge – a great venue for an art deco themed wedding. I did a natural look, with different themes on each model. It was a fab day, really fun – I got to meet a few new, potential clients and I was even lucky enough to try on one of the amazing dresses!
Back in East Central London I’ll be exhibiting at ‘A Most Curious Wedding Fair ‘at the Truman Brewery on Brick Lane from April the 19th to the 21st – so please come and meet Beauty Call there if you are getting married soon for lots of ideas!
We are also super busy at the mo with mini hair and makeups for hen parties of a vintage theme at the ‘Proud Cabaret’ clubs in London and Brighton .Styles include ‘the Dita Von Teese’ and ‘Bridget Bardot’.
I love to use the ‘Mac Fluidline Gel Eyeliner’ as it gives such a deep black, pristine line on the eyes.. Add a slick of red to the lips and you’re good to go!
