September, Splurging and Soft Make up

September was a lovely calm month after a super busy summer. I had a great time getting my gorgeous brides ready for their late summer weddings. Sarah, who was a doll to work with requested a take on the 1930’s vintage look for her wedding make up. We had loads of fun getting the right shade of raspberry lipstick for her complexion and along with her bridesmaids watched snippets of various wedding themed movies.

With September starts the Wedding Fair season. Wedding suppliers gather together under an amazing wedding venue to provide brides and grooms to be with ideas, both practical and lighthearted for their big day. My first Wedding Fair this season was held at Bickley Manor Hotel in Bickley, on a gorgeous late summers day.

I had loads of fun talking about the services Beauty Call offers as well as providing mini consultations and makeovers to brides to be. Check the main website to find out which Wedding Fairs Beauty Call will be attending over the next coming months.

I also had a little splurge on a few new make up products this month. My absolutely favourite buy is the Urban Decay Vice Palette.

Urban Decay Vice Palette

It’s their new limited edition eye shadow palette, with a mix of 20 bright and nude colours. For those who are familiar with the Naked palettes this palette can easily be a Naked 3 but with added fashion colours. At a mere £40 it’s an absolute bargain and must have for everyone’s make up bag.
