It’s every bride’s worst nightmare that someone will let them down before the big day or something will not quite go to plan.
So when I got a call from a distressed London bride saying that her original makeup and hair team had gone MIA, I told her she had called the right person! With such a big team of amazing artists, Beauty Call will always have someone to save the day no matter how late the notice!
Of course being a makeup artist is all about talent and creativity, but more than that, it’s about personality. I see it all the time with clients who call me back for events, and whether it’s red carpet or bridal it’s down to compatibility. Like finding your perfect wedding dress when it’s right, you know!
With this in mind I assured the distressed bride to be that she would look amazing on the big day and that she was in safe hands, and we set up a trial for a few days later.
The big day arrived and I was getting the bride and her big bridal party ready at the beautiful DoubleTree by Hilton in Westminster.
I chose to do a soft vintage wave through the hair, which was complemented by her birdcage veil. Her makeup was soft and smokey, choosing greys and earthy tones over black. The morning couldn’t have gone better for her and to know how much it meant to her to look exactly how she had dreamed of looking was enough for me!
I was thrilled to receive this beautiful thank you card from her a few days ago.
