Laura Mercier Eyeshadow Palette 2014 Spring

I’m always on the lookout for a great eyeshadow palette, so when I spotted the new Laura Mercier Eyeshadow Palette 2014 Spring – I just had to buy it!

The palette includes 12 eyeshadows – the top row offers a great selection of matte eyeshadows from Noir to Buttercream, and the bottom row offers subtle shimmery shadows from Diamond Pink to Rich Cocoa.

There are two limited edition shades in the palette, Diamond Pink and Violet Steel, and there aren’t really any shades that I wouldn’t wear. However, I think my favourite shade has to be African Violet.

The packaging is great as well, the magnetic close on the palette makes it easy to open and shut without any fuss.

Although the palette is fairly expensive at £60, it does come with a mini brown Caviar Stick (cream eyeshadow) and a mini Volume Lash mascara. It’s on par with the recent NARSissist Palette, but on the downside it does contain three less eyeshadows.

Personally, I know I’ll get a lot of use out of this palette and it’s a fab addition to my makeup kit.

It landed on makeup counters in May and is only available at John Lewis, so grab one while stocks last!
