London Fashion Week … Yes Fashion Charity Event

The Yes Fashion Show was held on the 15th September at the Double Tree By Hilton Hotel, London, West End. The six hour show was a blend of 13 designers showcasing their 2013 Spring and Summer collections.

Yes FashionWith a delicate mix of haute couture designs, classic staples, hot new talent and industry favourites the show truly had something for everyone.

The hosts for the evening were Lady K and model/presenter Annaliese Dayes.

My part in this fabulous event was to head up the makeup teams backstage. With 50 models, we had our work cut out, so the girls were split into teams and designers allocated . . . My team and I opened the show with Nataliya Dolenko; The Saint Martin’s graduate showed a collection of floaty, delicate chiffon dresses with a colour to suit every skin type.

The finale to the event was the collection by Avant – garde designer Anoosh. For this show, International Supermodel Harriadnie Beau Phipps had flown in from Paris to grace the catwalk.

I was assigned to her as her personal make up artist, which was a huge honour 🙂 as she is such a lovely lady in all ways. Hair was done by head of hairstyling for the event, Karen Evans.
