Making the most of your lipstick

So, with the colder months coming up I thought I would give you all a few tips on helping to keep your lips moisturised and stop them from chapping! Especially down by the Brighton seafront – that wind can play a havoc!

After all the hype about the EOS lipbalms I had to try them! I can honestly say they are AMAZING! I haven’t had chapped lips since ive been using it for a couple of months now!

Another great way to keep your lips soft is by using an exfoliator regularly.

You can go out and buy one from the shops – LUSH Cosmetics do a nice mint flavoured one or The Body Shop – lipscuff is great too.

However, a good home remedy I use regularly is:

1.) Take a little sugar and mix with Olive oil
2.) Rub onto lips and exfoliate in circular movements
3.) Wash off sugar scrub
4.) Apply lip balm – EOS, Pawpaw, carmex etc

Another way is to gently rub over your lips with a toothbrush – this also works really well.

All of these methods will help to make your lipstick look more flawless and keep your lips feeling smooth.

They feel nice on your lips and taste great too 😉
