March has proved to be a busy one for me, Aimee who looks after the Darlington and Harrogate areas for Beauty Call.
Some of my wedding hair and makeup trials in March took me to:
Billingham in Teesside, Shildon in Darlington and Stainton in County Durham.
Whilst in the area I had the pleasure of paying the beautiful Whitworth Hall Country Park, County Durham, a visit to have a look around and leave some Beauty Call info with their wedding co-ordinator Jackie.
Driving up the winding driveway, leading to Whitworth Hall you are greeted by some beautiful sights. To the right hand side is a large lake surrounded by wildlife including dear and lush, green park land, before you pass in front of the hotel into the spacious car park.
You can’t help picturing some beautiful wedding photographs in these grounds!
To finish the month of I was one of the wedding suppliers chosen by Crook Hall and Gardens to exhibit at their Wedding Fair. And what a lovely fair it was to be part of.
This is a wonderful venue, situated in the centre of County Durham, you would not believe that you are in a city centre. Once in the grounds and inside the venue it feels more like you are in the middle of the countryside.
The venue was full of great local suppliers ready to meet all the brides and grooms to be. Some of the suppliers I got a chance to chat to were; Something Borrowed North East – these lovely girls have some beautiful things to hire out for your big day. Also Simon Hudspeth Photography and Wild Brides at Heart – Bridal Gowns.
This quirky venue seemed to appeal to a lot of brides wanting a venue with a difference. I chatted with lots of brides-to-be about their wedding hair and makeup ideas and it seemed that quite a few were thinking of something with a vintage edge as well as those opting for a more romantic look.
Here’s me with my stand at Crook Hall and my stand neighbours: Something Borrowed North East.
