Greenwich holds a very special place in my heart; it’s the home place of the romance between me and my husband.
The status of Royal Borough is more than accurate for a place like Greenwich. It’s spectacular scenery, the market, the gorgeous boutiques and right in the middle of it all is The Old Royal Naval College and its glorious green grounds.
What better setting for a perfect wedding?
My gorgeous bride Colette got married in October in the Painted Hall. The fabulous backdrop of the ornate room took her, like many of my other bride’s breath away.
Colette and I decided that her hair and make up should have a period feel (a nod toward Downtown Abbey) in order to compliment the Hall.
Her hair was pin curled and styled elegantly; her make up was soft and understated with just a little enhancement of her sparkly blue eyes.
Her look was finished with a birdcage veil and figure-hugging gown.
Colette had arranged for a London Black Cab to drive her to the venue, which was just so fitting for the location of her wedding.
I’m looking forward to plenty more weddings in Greenwich in 2014!
