Winter Wonderland Wedding in Bedfordshire

I was so excited to be part of Jack and Michelle’s wedding day….not only doing her bridal hair and make up but being a guest as well!!

Winter Wonderland Wedding In Bedfordshire

The weather was against us but that did not stop the fun of the wedding day.  There were brollies blowing in the wind and ladies trying to run in heels but this all added to the memories of a wonderful winter wonderland wedding in Bedfordshire.

The Hair and Makeup:

Michelle choose make up that made her skin look flawless and healthy – we are both fans of Estee Lauder Double wear and this was the foundation chosen for longevity as well as giving you a flawless looking skin.  Lots of black mascara and individual lashes really opened up Michelle’s eye and accented her eyes.  A coat of Chanel rouge allure lipstick finished the look.

Lots of hair extensions were clipped in to add lots of volume.  The hair was then placed round to one side to tumble down one shoulder.  I adored the Butler and Wilson necklace which was worn at the reception to add extra bling along with a fur wrap.  I had my eye on Michelle’s Vivienne Westwood shoes which were a perfect addition to the bridal outfit and I’m told very comfortable.

The Venues:

The ceremony took place at the beautiful and historic St Mary’s Church in Woburn, Bedfordshire which had been decorated for Christmas with ivy, candles and a huge Christmas tree.  Hymns were all Christmas carols to get us in the mood.  More music from the choir and the wonderful pianist who played Lady Gaga and also Mariah Carey’s “All I want for Christmas is You”.  Upon arrival at the reception at Plum Park, Towcester there were open fires, Christmas Trees, Mince pies, Mulled wine and hot toddy’s.

The Wonderland part of this wedding included:

– The Photobooth Mania, where we went into the booth with some mad accessories and posed away.

– During the wedding day we had the lovely people at Electra Films filming “Marryoke”.
This was the Black Eyed Peas “I Gotta a Feeling” chosen by Jack and Michelle. We were recorded during different parts of day then it was cleverly edited to create YouTube Video:

– The finale was an excellent firework display by Dynamic Fireworks.

Electra Films also captured the day perfectly with a wedding highlights video:

If you needed some inspiration for a Winter wedding I hope this gave you some!
